Tips for Theme Birthday Party of Your Kid
Birthday is a very special time of the year. When we are celebrating this event, we are not only celebrating the long life of that person but we are celebrating how much they have grown in the past year and have become this amazing person they are. Plus, we are telling them how important they are in our life. Birthdays are very important events because it’s a day for that certain person to feel special and it’s the duty of people around the birthday person to make their day special and eventful. When we are older, we know what kind of birthday party we want, what kind of theme is in fashion, and what our heart wants but when it comes to kids, we are kinda out of ideas as kids themselves can’t even tell what they want, so to solve this problem here are some tips for the theme birthday party of your kid.
1. Budget for birthday party
When we are organizing a birthday party especially when it’s a theme-based party, we should work on a budget because it won’t take much time and you won’t even know how much you have spent. Which will be a lot. So, it’s a smart move to work under budget. if you are on a low budget and want to organize a party for boys you can have a baseball theme party in which kids wear denim jeans with their favorite player shirt and we don’t really have to spend a lot of money on dresses. A simple example is if you are doing a barbie theme birthday for your daughter all the decorations and cake will cost a fortune but we can solve this by organizing our budget and listing out the things we really want.
2. Deciding venue
Now venue should be the one that works best for all the guests they interact with and have fun at one place. Well, we don’t only want people to come and sing happy birthday, do we?
Now we have many options e.g. if it’s the spring season and the weather is good and pleasant, we can arrange an outside birthday party. For example, if we have a car theme birthday party for a boy who is in a prep class, we can arrange a car-shaped inflatable bouncer or if having a party of baby girl for her friends we can have a jumping castle. At outdoor birthday parties, we have more options for fun activities and can be more creative in decorations.
Or we can have a totally separate theme based on outdoor adventure theme birthday in which we can organize a lot of games such as painting or scavenger hunt etc.
The same goes for indoor parties, there are so many themes we can apply. Here are some examples:
3. Cupcake shop theme party
The setup will be made in such a way that the kids will try to make cupcakes. Kids will enjoy being bakers where they make cakes and prepare icings. The food will also include so many different types of cupcakes and sweets and we all know kids love sweets.
4. Pirate party
This Idea is also very interesting. Cosplaying your kids into pirates and having small plays by kids at the party will surely bring smiles to their faces. We can have a spooky pirate cake which will be entertaining.
5. Fairytale party
It’s a dream of every girl to live a fairy tale. A birthday party based on this theme will be magical. Here, all the girls will dress up like princesses and boys like princes.
6. Ice-cream theme party
Ice cream is one of the favorite things for kids. They love to eat ice cream. A birthday party based on this will be like a dream for them. They can dress up in different colors to represent different flavors of ice cream. Imagine having a nonstop supply of ice cream? This will be like heaven for kids.
7. Invitation and cake
Now, we have discussed most of the aspects of the party but the invitation is very important. We have to see how many guests we can accommodate and if the timing is suitable for all of them. We have to ask our kids for all the friends they like to invite. Last but not least is the cake, now the cake is the star of the show as no party is complete without a cake, so it’s very important to make the customized cake according to the theme. If we have a Disney-based party, we should have our favorite characters on the cake.
