ShiningRubies Guest – Dorien Maxwell
Dorien Maxwell Watson who is popularly known as Dmaxx or Bunky by family and friends is a kid model from the state of Ohio! It gives us great pleasure to feature this adorable young star on our blog.
Seven-year-old Dorien is 4 feet tall. He celebrates his birthday yearly on July 25th.
Dorien is a model and brand representative for several brands. He has done some really cool promotion for well-known brands like Downtown Krowns, Dapper Boys of May, Sweet Looks Collection, Modern Hype Apparel, Dem Dapper Boyz, Soapbox Tees to mention a few. Dorien’s most shopped store is Downtown Krowns, he especially loves their snap-backs. His favorite designer is Dapper Boys of May for their amazing jewelry and accessories for little kids.
Dorien’s first word as a baby was Da-da! He speaks English fluently and he is learning to speak and write Spanish. Dorien’s favorite outfit is a snap-back hat, comfortable tee on distressed denim shorts or jeans. His favorite accessories are bow ties, watches and glasses.
Dorien’s favorite things to do are building legos, watching YouTube videos and reading. He engages in other extracurricular activities like soccer, swimming, and drama.
For Dorien, the journey is just beginning. One of his memorable days on this journey is when he got featured on KidFash magazine twinning with Pharrell Williams. Another memorable day is his very first professional print shoot where he featured as “Aqua boy” for Joann’s 2018 Halloween costumes promotion.

Dorien has been coping well with fame. As a kid model, he says “I want to be important, not famous”. He stays humble and says “thank you”. He shares his success with his community as he believes it’s a group effort. One of Dorien’s greatest achievement on this journey is improved confidence.
We asked Dorien to choose between the Sun or the Moon, Dorien chose the Sun because he likes when it’s bright and sunny outside. Between Sneakers or dress shoes, Dorien chose Sneakers because he believes his mom buys the coolest sneakers!
In the future, Dorien wants to be an animator of TV shows, movies and maybe video games.
For an all-expense paid trip, he would love to visit the city of London.
